EMPLOYMENT RIGHTS UNIT
The Employment Rights Unit provides affordable legal advice and representation for employment tribunal cases and internal dispute procedures and covers all areas of employment law including unfair dismissal, breach of contract, race and sex discrimination, disability and age discrimination, religion discrimination, redundancy and Wages Act claims.
Any person, employer or claimant can use the services of our barristers without going through solicitors. This means that you get advice and representation from barristers who have experience and expertise in employment law and tribunal hearings.
Our legal services are tailored to the different stages of employment tribunal claims. Examples of services are:
· Advice on merit and procedure
· Drafting Claim and Defence
· Drafting discrimination questionnaires and answers to questionnaires
· Witness statements
· Representation at any hearing
The fee for any service or services is agreed in advance. You only pay the agreed fee and nothing extra for telephone calls, letters or amendments. In addition and without any additional costs, you have the support of the same barrister throughout the whole process. This means that in most tribunal claims you can save up to 50 per cent on legal fees as you are not billed on an hourly basis.
